About WILD WEST PRESS CO.

Wild West Press Co. is a tiny woman owned fine art print shop based in Colorado Springs.

Owner + Printmaker Lauren McKenzie studied printmaking, while (sort-of) earning her degree in Visual Communications, at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. She was introduced to the Outlaw Printmakers, a la, The Amazing Hancock Brothers, Carlos Hernandez of Burning Bones Press, Dennis McNett of WolfBat Studios, Tom Huck of Evil Prints, and Joseph Velasquez of Drive by Press, and instantly fell in love with printmaking.

She continues to hone her knowledge and skill of printmaking by attending Frogman’s Workshops at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

Each print is fueled and inspired whilst humming to the tunes of Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette. Lauren aka Lady Lar Lar, makes her prints by hand during the minuscule spare time when she’s not busy running her creative branding agency, REN Creativ.
